Anchoring vs. Grounding: Your Sovereignty in the New Energy
Many of us seek peace, yet we often confuse two key states that build our stability. It is worth distinguishing between them to manage your energy consciously.
Grounding is your physical base. It is the "grounding wire" for your nervous system. It drains tension, information noise, and anxiety. When you touch the earth, breathe consciously, or simply "sink" physically into matter, you give your body a signal: "I am here, I am safe, my emotions have an outlet." Thanks to this, your body ceases to be a battlefield for thoughts and becomes a safe vessel for your consciousness. Grounding is the moment when you release excess energy and allow nature to take on your burden.
Anchoring is your energetic base. It is something deeper—a state in which your consciousness is "pinned" to your Truth. You can be grounded in your body but still drift in fear of the future. Anchoring is the moment when you know who you are and what you are creating, regardless of whether a storm is raging around you or all is quiet. It is your inner certainty that cannot be shaken by any external event or bureaucratic procedure. It is rooting yourself in your purpose and a deep connection to what is true for you, creating a foundation for your sovereign will.
The Ship Metaphor:
Grounding is a heavy anchor cast to the seabed—it holds you in place so you do not drift uncontrollably under the waves.
Anchoring is your rudder and the certainty of the captain who knows the course, even when fog obscures the land.
For us, building The Whole Shift of Earth requires both states. Grounding allows us to move through "systemic formalities" without losing energy, and anchoring allows us to stay on course when the reality around us begins to transform.
Do not wait for external stability—create it within. Be grounded in matter and anchored in your vision.
Appendix: Practical Rituals for Your Sovereignty
Grounding Rituals: When you feel an excess of noise
Mother's Touch: Choose an object made of a natural material (a stone, wood, a living tree). Place both hands on it. Close your eyes and breathe for a minute, feeling all the "tension" from your mind flow through your arms and hands, and disappear into the object, discharging into the earth.
Conscious Step: During a walk, shift all your attention to your feet. Feel how the heel hits the ground and then rolls through to the toes. Imagine that with every step, you are driving "energetic stakes" into the ground, which stabilise your body and silence the race of thoughts.
Anchoring Rituals: When you lose contact with your course
Declaration of Truth: Stand in front of a mirror or in a quiet place. Look deep into your own eyes and speak aloud one sentence defining your current intention (e.g., "I am the sovereign of my own time and the creator of my reality"). This anchors your identity at a moment when the external world tries to impose a different role upon you.
Point Zero: When you feel that you are "drifting" in anxiety, stop. Straighten your spine, imagine a vertical axis running through the top of your head down to the very centre of the planet. Feel this line as your axis of inner stability. Breathe along it, repeating in your mind: "Here is my home, here is my truth, here is my rudder."
