The "Safe Cage" Trap 

For many, the system—bills, credit, the 9-to-5 grind, rigid social norms—is a life-support system. This corset, though constricting, offers a sense of predictability. If you were to take away someone’s "manual for the world" and ask them to create their own reality from scratch, many would feel a paralysing fear.

It is like releasing a bird from a cage after twenty years; it doesn’t always fly straight toward freedom. Sometimes, it just sits on the open door, afraid to make the first move.
