The Depth Beneath the Cracked Shell. From Scotland to the Balkan Space of Power
I stand at a point of transition from which it is clearer than ever what space truly is and how it resonates with my internal path.
Looking with a cool, sober eye at Vikend Naselje and the entire Kopaonik massif, it is not difficult to notice an outer shell full of human chaos. Dense, disorderly development, abandoned construction projects, rubbish hiding in corners, or an infrastructure treating this place as a mere bedroom community and commercial resort — all of this gives the impression of an imperfect, even harsh space. And yet, beneath this superficial flaw lies a pulsating, subterranean power that touches the deepest layers of my consciousness. Why does this happen? Architecture and human oversights are merely a thin, temporary husk imposed upon a giant geological structure. Kopaonik is the ancient, granite-limestone heart of Serbia, saturated with minerals, crystalline rock, and pure springs. This powerful Earth carries within it an undisturbed vibration that no concrete or commercial noise can drown out. What is more, it is precisely in the cracks of this imperfect structure, where nature violently intrudes into man's abandoned plans, that this pure force flows most strongly. The absence of sterility and an artificially smoothed order creates a breach through which the ancient Slavic spirit of this land breathes with full chest.
I have never liked sterility or a reality laid out with a ruler. Extreme order and predictability inevitably lead to excessive control, locking us in a corset where there is no room for intuition, living breath, and organic flow. Wild nature is not arranged in perfect cubes — it can be rough, chaotic, and unpolished, but it is within this unprocessed state that true harmony resides. The Balkan space, with its Slavic grounding, receives me in this very truth. It is not a postcard landscape, but a living tissue that does not need to pretend to be something it is not.
When I connect the steps taken here with the time spent in Scotland, I perceive a deep continuity and evolution of my own foundation. In Scotland, I absorbed the energy of the Far North — raw, crystalline, born of wind, granite peaks, and the open ocean. The North gave me an exceptionally solid, stable alignment, teaching me quiet discipline, purity of presence, trust in my own rhythm, and the simplicity of HCLFLP. In Insch, for the first time on such a scale, I was learning to let go of the old world and open up to the new, although that transition was still accompanied by a quiet fear and anxiety about the unknown.
Kopaonik became a test and a development of this Northern foundation. That crystalline clarity brought from the North allowed me to settle into the more vibrant, subcutaneous energy of the Balkans without losing my own shape. Here, the fear from a few months ago yielded to a mature attachment and inner freedom. I have learned to reach deeper with my sight and feeling, to ignore the superficial noise of the world, and to connect directly with what is pure beneath. What was still a cautious testing of the ground in Insch has become a firm, unshakable alignment in the Balkans.
I leave Vikend Naselje with a sense of full saturation. A month in this climate, tens of kilometres on open trails, an abundance of wild blackberries picked straight from the bushes, a fruitful time of writing, and daily spiritual practice have coalesced into an invaluable experience. I take this quality with me — not as a souvenir from a specific apartment or forest path, but as a lasting, internal blueprint of Power that remains within me forever, regardless of where the next step leads me.
